A Festive Experience: SuperOffice Transforms Historic Landmark into a Radiant Christmas Calendar House

Magical Christmas House

Oslo, Norway – On 2 December SuperOffice hosted a spectacular holiday kickoff at the historic address of Wergelandsveien 27. The festive event brought together employees, family members, customers, partners and local talents for an inspiring and joyful cultural celebration.

A Magical Evening in Historic Surroundings

Wergelandsveien 27 is a historical building that was constructed in 1864 by architect Thøger Binneballe. Over the years, it has served various purposes, from a military hospital to its current role as SuperOffice's headquarters. The building is owned by the family of SuperOffice’s founder, Une Amundsen.

In recent years, Wergelandsveien 27 has undergone extensive renovations, blending the old with the new. It has preserved its historic architecture and has won multiple awards for its interior design, and congruently it has stayed up-to-date with modern facilities. Every December, the building transforms into a Christmas calendar house, with each window representing a day in the Advent calendar.

Guests were entertained by local Norwegian artists Cathrine Torp Gudesen, Steffen Isaksen and the band Safari, who performed traditional holiday songs, creating a magical atmosphere for all attendees.

A Symbol of Togetherness

“This event was about more than celebrating Christmas. For SuperOffice, it symbolized two key themes – a history of proud heritage and a bright future marked by high ambitions and innovation,” said Lars Engbork, Group CEO of SuperOffice.

“Wergelandsveien 27 has experienced a similar journey – a historic landmark with a rich past that continues to contribute to Oslo’s cultural and professional scene. It was a pleasure to welcome all our guests and host this eventful holiday celebration at our headquarters.”

Spreading Holiday December Cheer

The Advent calendar house will remain illuminated throughout December, adding to the holiday spirit for both locals and SuperOffice employees. Passersby can take photos of the building and share them on social media throughout December to enter a contest for exciting prizes. Read more here www.superoffice.com/magical-calendar-house
